The UCF Men's basketball team dropped another close game, this time to 8th ranked Iowa State, 60-52. The Knights did not shoot the ball well from three (1-19) and committed too many turnovers, ultimately sealing their fate.

More here from Andrew Cherico for the Sons of UCF.

Johnny is a master at stating the obvious. What we need him to do is a better job coaching by preparing his team for a defense that he knew would be suffocating (and we weren't prepared). Next is Houston with the same type of defensive pressure that we've seen already (we only scored 42 against them last game). The Houston game will tell us a lot about Johnny the Coach....no excuse for us not to be prepared. And for the players (especially the guards), if you want to make a living playing basketball, it's time to man up and show it.
