Redskins UDFA spotlight - Terrance Plummer

they complain about him being listed at 21 lbs under his college playing weight and then say he dropped 14 lbs in order to drop back in coverage.

I'm in Northern Virginia and haven't met a Redskins fan that knows who he is or that he signed as an UDFA or anything. Boy are they in for a surprise!!!!

I've read 2 different articles with views on Redskin LBs. One said they were terrible last year and Plummer has an excellent chance, they other barely mentions him and sends him to the practice squad maybe. Anyone know which is closer to the truth?

Judging by the performance on the field last season, the first one. The problem is, all 6 LBs ahead of him are currently under contract so he is by default the lowest man on the totem pole. I think if they were going to cut him, they would've by now. He'll make special teams for sure by preseason and, at that point, he'll have 4 games to earn a spot on the rotation. Reminds me of the Victor Cruz situation years ago.

You see the buffness in Terrance vs the other guy. (He on the left) Mr. Ed. got these guys in fantastic shape. Strength and conditioning is often overlooked by recruits. We have one of the best.

him being on roster in June does not mean he makes the final roster or practice squad...they need bodies all through OTA's and training camp...plus they dont know what they have running around with little contact..Dont read into any articles written in June...way too early.

They weren't complaining. The article said Plummer was being disrespected by the NFL, because some scouts listed him 21 pounds lighter and 2 inches shorter than he actually is, which was clearly an oversight.

They're happy he dropped the weight so he will be faster.

ok they oversighted his height and weight...they say by 21 LBS but when he lost 14lbs...was only off by 7 lbs...big deal. Noone makes teams based on height and weight on a roster or article.

Who is the they you're referring to? Your pronouns could either reference the article writers, the scouts, or his current coaching staff.

Article writer: Felt that TP was overlooked.
Scouts: Overlooked TP
Coaches: Know TP's actual height/weight and are happy he lost 14 pounds at their behest because he'll be faster in drop back coverage.
