The UCF Knights turn into the Citronauts this week as they welcome the Arizona Wildcats to Orlando for the annual Space Game. The Knights are in a tailspin after their fifth straight loss, but, if there is any glimmer of hope, it is that they have never lost a game wearing their space themed uniforms. However, Head Coach Gus Malzahn knows it is going to take more than laundry to win this one.

More here from Andrew Cherico ... for the Sons of UCF.

Likely the most important factor in this contest, as it has been for the majority of UCF’s conference games this season, will be it’s lackluster (to this point) pass defense.

Can they get pressure on the quarterback? Can they avoid giving up the big chunk passing plays downfield. Who is healthy in the defensive backfield? CB McWilliams and S Tennison (two starters) missed last week, and CB Marshall missed the second half (starter). UCF could be in a lot of trouble if those guys are out.

Teta McMillan on Arizona is the leading receiver in the B12. The 6-5 wideout is likely a first round pick in the draft come this spring.
