If Raising Min Wage is bad, and taxing the rich is bad.. then explain THIS!

It is SFW, and it is a big issue come 2016.

The Minnesota/Wisconsin comparison is a good one right about now.

Pretty amazing that Scott Walker is a frontrunner for Republican presidential nominee when his state is being run into the ground, and the liberals in the state next door are thriving. Once again, Republicans policies don't hold up under reality.

Wisconsin was a dumpster fire when he got there. Huge deficits, High unemployment. Now running surpluses, and unemployment is way down.. sorry chemmie failure on your part.

You live in a state run by Republicans which now has a budget surplus, has slowed state budget growth, has had continuous job gains, and has lowered tax burdens across the board at the same time.

What a failed policy track record!!

Also, the MN House of Reps is controlled by Republicans. Since you're a super smart guy when it comes to legislative procedure, I'm sure you realize that the House (in each state) is the body responsible for drafting and passing spending legislation.

You again utterly fail to properly mindlessly bash Republicans.

I am not commenting on the actual merits of the policy, but this is typical slanted selective writing. I can't call it journalism because that would say that it is actually reporting.

1) Tax increase enacted immediately and yielded a surplus. Shocking. Of course it did, they had more money coming in.

2) The minimum wage won't even go into effect for another 3.5 years so it has no bearing whatsoever on the economy reports.

3) The economy in the US got better and unemployment went down nationally so proportionately it did the same in Minnesota.

Now, I am not saying his policies are good or bad, just that the article trying to correlate the 2 to serve its own agenda.

The writer for the DailyKos is as flaming of a left wing jackass as you can get.

He is the equivalent of Rush Limbaugh starting his own blog.

You lost me a KOS.

If you really think that anything you see on that website has a shred a credibility you might want to give up right now. Calling that website credible is like calling Democratic underground uplifting.

This.

Minimum wage laws only ensure that low skill workers will have a harder time finding a job. It's common sense that bleeding hearts refuse to accept.
