That was the consensus among UCF football student-athletes following their latest visit to the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Different from previous visits, the student-athletes sought input from the children on how to take their game, or their style for the Spring Game, to the next level.

In a unique opportunity, the children designed logos for the student-athletes to wear on their helmets during UCF’s annual Knights vs. ‘Nauts Spring Game, presented by Knight Pass, on Friday, April 12, at FBC Mortgage Stadium.

UCF’s student-athletes assisted the children in the creative process of coloring and designing stacked UCF, Knight Head and Citronaut logos that the players will don on their helmets.

Additionally… Our softball team had unique “autism awareness” logos on their uniforms during Wednesday’s rout of Jacksonville. My wife saw some of the fans wearing the UCF/ autism shirts on TV and ordered a couple online.
As far as the game outcome… Jax had won seven games in a row but our girls run-ruled them in the 5th inning and our 2 pitchers combined for a no-hitter! 😀
