Looks like a good solid recruit for us. Rival’s 6th rated dual threat, fits the offense, was the Winter combine MVP, 10 P5 offers, right around the 60th best player in Florida, and stands between 6’2”+ and 6’4”.

Watching the combine footage it was ball placement on medium to long throws that stood out from others. This is confirmed by the scout review on 24/7. The trajectory of his throws are better than Mr Socko who had a great long ball but everything was pretty flat from a trajectory viewpoint. He could use more velocity on throws into the middle of the field.

And can’t let a review conclude without mentioning the hair, long and flowing, but with great body……very White Goodman-esque.

I like the touch he puts on deep balls and the zip he has on quick throws out wide.

He’s definitely a different caliber QB than we are used to recruiting, or at least landing. Looks like a perfect fit for a Gus system, let’s see if he fits the Hinshaw offense 🤷🏻‍♂️
