Huge collection of some clueless students living away from home for the first time seem to be easy pickins.

With all of the armed robberies lately at off-campus apartments...it will just make UCF's dorms that much more valuable to some parents and students. (Crime still occurs on-campus...but not nearly to the amount and/or danger off-campus).

Times have certainly changed...as it doesn't seem that long ago that the most expensive item in some student apartments were the cases of PBR in the frig.

Yeah, they were stupid for leaving the door unlocked; I mean, when I lived there 15 years ago, it was a cesspool. I kept my room locked most of the time.

That being said, call my crazy, but I'm pretty sure the fault lies with the thief that stole $6,000 worth of stuff, not the victims.

Students are supposed to be nearly destitute and broke. It is their own fault.
