So 22-5 to start the season, then 9-22 to finish it. Jesus what a collapse. Could this be Rooney's last year?

His team has to start performing. White will not put up with continued disappointing results from this baseball team. We should be winning the AAC or runner up just about every year when you look at the competition we're facing in this sport. No more excuses.

And I think that's fair game. Both guys have been in place for a while and have enough of a track record to make a sound judgment as to whether they deserve to stay on. Perhaps DJ gets one more year due to the sanctions, but baseball has none of those kinds of excuses for sure. Win the AAC and get into the NCAA field, or pack yer stuff Rooney.

I agree..But how do we think White can make that decision. He would need supporter push and UCF does not have baseball $$$

I doubt White gives a crap about sanctions. He's a basketball guy, and I bet he'd think Jones buried himself using a runner etc. Besides, a new AD no doubt would love to be the guy that brought in the best BB coach UCF ever had. Jones is gone. Rooney will be gone if not successful etc. etc. Remember, White canned the fan favorite basketball coach at Buffalo (if the story is right), he's not going to keep a so-so coach that the fans aren't that sold on.

I wish more students went to the baseball games because it does make the atmosphere more exciting. But, UCF needs to win more to get folks more excited.

That runner was in place from Speraw. I have no issues seeing how he performs next season. We are down 2 scholarships this year too. BJ and Goodwin
