Sports Illustrated published their proposed new conference realignment yesterday. Kind of interesting who we would be playing against. Killer schedule, but at least we'd finally have the same chance to play for a National Championship as anyone else. Of course this will never happen as it steps on the toes of too many ingrained self interested parties.

Agreed, easily those conferences could have 3-4 teams in a expanded playoff.

this is what Forde always does for exposure and web clicks. Rattle the cages with some grandiose plan that’s sure to fail. Trying telling the FLA schools only one of you truly has a shot to win your conference.

I agree. I really like this but agree the conferences are too regionalized. It would be better to soften the regionalization just a little bit.

I don't think Forde has much/any influence over what actually happens anyway but this would be a good place to start and then make a few compromises. It certainly would be more fair and profitable for the whole FBS.
