I didn't want to post it. He can EAD.
This guy is such a clown. Yeah…Bama about to replace the GOAT with Malzon. Get a life.I didn't want to post it. He can EAD.
I go on suicide watch if they hire Gus to replace him.
Yeah…………..That’s not happening.I didn't want to post it. He can EAD.

A little bit of me is kinda hoping they do… for the content. But yeah, no way in hellYeah…………..That’s not happening.
Cheater... You think? Some of my Auburn friends claimed he was the biggest cheater thru the time he was at LSU and then Bama. But, that could just be rumors.
Ironic.Looks like Billy Belichick is leaving the Patriots too.

Belichick on exit from Pats: 'Going to move on'
Bill Belichick will no longer serve as Patriots coach after a remarkable 24 seasons, saying "we're going to move on" while also looking looking back fondly at his unmatched run in New England.www.espn.com
This awesome . Oregon is such a unique Program and it is fun to see them do well
Glenn Schumman would be my pick. If uat doesn't hire him here (and I hope it doesn't), it may never get the opportunity again.I still think Dabo takes it
He's 33.. I'm sure they'll have a shot at him.Glenn Schumman would be my pick. If uat doesn't hire him here (and I hope it doesn't), it may never get the opportunity again.

Could Alabama Hire Georgia Defensive Coordinator Glenn Schumann?
The news officially broke. Alabama football head coach Nick Saban officially retired from the game of college football just a few days after the national championship game. Some of thewww.gwinnettdailypost.com
According to Lou’s wife they were 2nd Cousins."Saban retires". That once was the greatest headline in UCF football's history. Lou, no relation, nearly killed UCF football if it weren't for Gene McDowell.
the grass is damn green in eugene ... a wordsmith worthy of the "It Was A Good Day" beat.
Weird.
Weird.
My guess is uat/sabahr will control the hires on defense. DeBoer will make all the hires on offense. Kind of like Gus 2013.
Has the feel of certain in-state hire of recent memory...I think it just comes down to he's a winner. I don't think they need someone who can sell Alabama, I think they want someone that can win football games on Saturdays.
DeBoer is 104-12 at it
Going to interesting to see how they look next year though, that's for sure
yeah it has that feel except for those minor differences of winning in the pac 12 vs the mountain west and making it to the playoffs.Has the feel of certain in-state hire of recent memory...

Auburn names Boise State's Harsin as new coach
Bryan Harsin, who was 69-19 with three Mountain West titles in seven seasons at Boise State, replaces Gus Malzahn, who was fired earlier this month after eight seasons at Auburn.www.espn.com
I wish DeBoer all the luck of Bryan Harsin.
Lou was actually a fascinating guy who took the program from D3 to D2. He was a nomad and had serious issues w the AD (ex fotmer FSU coach Bill Peterson) UCF had very little money. Had dreams of Champaign with a Piggly Wiggly no brand beer budget."Saban retires". That once was the greatest headline in UCF football's history. Lou, no relation, nearly killed UCF football if it weren't for Gene McDowell.
There's no question DeBoer is a winner. But, like Knightmare13, I'm a little surprised that Bama would tab a guy who: 1) is not a Southern; 2) is not an "SEC Guy"; and has limited experience (albeit highly successful) at the D1/P5 level.Although DeBoer is probably the best pure football coach they can get, always worries me when a guy strays far away from where he usually coaches. From SD, spent most of his career on the west coast.
In 2013, all of Auburn's offensive assistants, save Dameyune Craig, had ties to Gus Malzahn and Arkansas. No defensive coach had any ties to Gus.There's no question DeBoer is a winner. Any manager/CEO-type who has worked in the same profession in different regions of the country knows there are distinct differences in how you operate depending on where you are. Some leaders are able to adapt. Some can't.
It'll be interesting to see how DeBoer handles his cross-country transition.
Leopold said "No thanks."
I realize college sports is unique. Most new managers, directors, and CEOs in business are expected to do great things with the staff they inherit. (At least in the beginning.)In 2013, all of Auburn's offensive assistants, save Dameyune Craig, had ties to Gus Malzahn and Arkansas. No defensive coach had any ties to Gus.
Just as Auburn did with Malzahn in 2013, uat will allow DeBoer to hire all (but one) of the offensive assistants. uat will hire all of the defensive assistants.
