Samsung and LG Debut 85"-88" 8K TV's

Most important features on a TV

OLED
QLED
Size

I'd take a 65" OLED over a 75" LED any day.

$8K for a TV that has capabilities that we can't even unlock yet. Ok then.

Meanwhile you can get 70 inch 4K TVs today for like $1,200.

Interesting UCFact. I have never bought a TV.

Unless you're sitting within 6 feet of a the TV, which is stupid considering the size of that thing, the human eye can't see the difference in clarity. Just a waste of money that is nothing more than a status symbol.

I’m super pumped. Closing on the sale of my condo in ~30 days. One of the top items on my purchase list is a 60+ inch tv. I’ve had a 46in Sony Bravia LCD for forever and it’s plenty big bc my living room isn’t very wide and the picture is still great. But I have a grand earmarked for as big a screen as I can get.

46" Bravia would be a great tv in bedroom, mancave, or even on a covered patio.

It's crazy to think that what was one of the best TV's would be utilized elsewhere but the change in technology and the sliding price scales have made it so attractive fir many to upgrade, even when their current tv still provides a great picture.
