San Fran degenerate throws racial slurs at Verizon Employee

https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/SF-Mayor-Theres-more-feces-on-the-sidewalks-than-Ive-ever-seen-488156431.htm

Apparently, SF is an all around shitty place. They’re devoting more budget to cleaning up but are not really going to be doing anything to deter the problem other than ask advocacy groups to tell the homeless to clean up after themselves.

The mayor did provide this gem: "About 70 percent of the people estimated to be homeless in San Francisco were actually housed in San Francisco before they became homeless."

SF is great if you're one of the mega wealthy people who can afford the absurdity of cost of living there.

You just have to keep your head up to avoid the army of homeless, drugged up lunatics that patrol the streets now.

I read somewhere that SF is losing convention business because of all the chit on the sidewalks. Amazing that SJWs will literally be more tolerant of human chit on their sidewalk than someone with differing political views. Sooooo brave. Sooooo tolerant.

I never felt unsafe when I was in SF. Most of the homeless hang out in certain areas, that most people don’t actually live in (Union Square).

The landscape of the city is gorgeous. The cost to live there is ridiculous though. Even if I could afford it, I would feel horrible paying that much towards housing.

When were you last there? We have a distributor across the bay in Alameda County and their guy used to go into SF with his wife for outings all the time. They've pretty much stopped since the past 2 times walking around ended up with them being harassed by some lunatic homeless drug user.

They're setting up "secluded" drug centers where these junkies can shoot up (on the government dime), all in the hopes that they'll take their drugs out of site of the general public and maybe stay away for a while.

It's gotten so bad that SF tourism folks are getting really worried since it's driving away tourists

About a year ago. I was mostly in the Castro/Mission/Lombard Street/Fisherman's Wharf area. The Wharf is a little grimey, it's mostly tourists.

Maybe this explains Bruce Miller's insane attack a few years ago. Got some bad street drugs from the locals.

Why do you spell shit like that you old fart

Having worked a long time in tech with a company with a sizable SF presence, and having visited it several times, you get a mix of various attitudes.

But it is interesting how many people that live there think most of the rest of the country is racist and has worse weather, and the believe that people must live downtown and cannot commute or otherwise take the train in.

Interesting viewpoints to say the least, some very, very arrogant over many other places in the country.

San Francisco is now the first California city to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections. In this case, it is school board elections but more will come. Should be interesting to see where this goes.

Hence why abolishing the lone federal immigration enforcement agency fits squarely into their strategy.

honest question. what is different from allowing illegal immigrants to vote in local elections than russia's meddling in the 2016 election?

Yep, two (2) major lies of the Clinton-Media-Progressive engine have come true ...
  • We're not coming for your guns after registration
  • Undocumented residents don't get to vote
It's funny how one registration gives more rights to non-citizens, and another takes away from citizens. Even better?

Check out the incarceration rates -- especially the time served -- for undocumented residents committing gun crimes versus citizens. ;)

None (argumentative, but still): As long as it benefits a Democratic candidate, it's fine.

THAT is a great question.
Yep. Again, although this is argumentative, it's also the truth with the Clinton-Media-Progressive engine ... as long as it benefits the Democratic party, it's fine.

It mirrors what happened in the state of Washington back in the early '00s ... "Recount ... until the Democratic candidate wins."

I travel to SF a lot for work and absolutely love the city. Sure, it has a homeless problem; but, as @bqknight pointed out, they're mainly confined to certain areas (right around Union Square as well as the Tenderloin). SF is also even more beautiful once you get out from the Downtown, SOMA and Wharf areas. Head up to Russian Hill. Head over to the Presidio. Mission Bay. Golden Gate Heights. Richmond. The Marina. Pac Heights. Noe Valley.

Stop listening to what others "tell" you about a city and go experience it for yourself. Also, not everyone in SF is a socialist - I can assure you of that.

Sorry, but I've been all around the entire city for years. The level of ignorance and arrogance is deadly. They ignore their own problems and the difference-in-wealth issues, and then judge anyone who doesn't live there.

They act like it's the only city that is integrated and diversified. In reality, they are an extremely poor example of extreme diversification, and why it should be avoided. Stark differences in wealth are a sign of voluntary 'not caring,' and saying the government should solve it means they are not taking personal responsibility for it.

As we all should.

So you've spoken to everyone that resides in SF? Wow, that's mighty impressive. I'll have to ask my friends, colleagues and clients that live within the city limits what they thought of you.*

There's no denying that those that hold political power within the city have their own problems; but, my point was more directed to the generalization insinuating that SF is full of nothing but leftist SJWs.

Don't be argumentative.

Of course I only talked to the tech professionals and related peers, plus some in law enforcement.** Too many have the same arrogance and ignorance, and even others -- including my fellow neighbors in DC and New York (yes, I've spent 3-5 years living/working in each) -- agreed with that assessment.

I.e., they are, all-too-often, exceedingly judgmental of anyone who lives elsewhere. There is also the 'west coast bias' that sometimes has more in-common with Japanese culture than American.

It's rather sad. Unfortunate it extends up into the leadership too ... sans the 'organized crime' that controls some of the city.**

**
Views via local law enforcement. Amnesty is proportional to organized crime. One of these days we'll separate the "non-criminal undocumented residents" from those most desirable, "violent undocumented residents," because the latter are the repeat, violent offenders who cannot be tracked and won't be handed over to the feds.

I'll have to ask my friends, colleagues and clients that live within the city limits what they thought of you.*
I'm sure they will look down upon me because I grew up in Orlando-Sanford, and now live in the country south of Birmingham. In fact, that's how the "judgement" all got started.

They started lambasting those of us who grew up and live in Orlando-Sanford. And then it went from there. And that's when others came in and showcased how they are out-of-touch with their own neighborhoods.

I.e., they expect government, instead of themselves, to work with their own communities.

Communities work best when individuals care and hold each other accountable. Even the earliest, communist communities in the US worked very well, because everyone held each other accountable.

Again, judgement leads to backlash. This board is a perfect example. I usually come into a debate already raging, and it's the judgement that was already there, that I attack. Stones from glass houses.

There's no denying that those that hold political power within the city have their own problems; but, my point was more directed to the generalization insinuating that SF is full of nothing but leftist SJWs.
Not, it's not. But tech -- from the leadership down to the coders -- very much are. And they drive the SJW arrogance there.

They were are the ones that are out-of-touch in first place! Combined with the organized crime that is now centered there, it's really getting bad. And the former wants the latter to solve it, when those 2 combined are the problem!

I wouldn't judge the city ... except they are judging everyone else. And that's the problem. They are engaged in self-destructive nature. The same is now happening in Seattle as well. The tech is controlling the city.

Although Amazon's Bezos isn't as self-destructive in Seattle as many tech leaders in San Fran.

Which one is that? Customs and Border Protection? Immigration and Citizen Services? or ICE? I bet you think ICE is the only one.
Americans really don't understand DHS and its subsidiaries. And Americans really don't understand how the country is really being overrun by organized crime.

When the US media starts covering that reality, I'll listen.

Which one is that? Customs and Border Protection? Immigration and Citizen Services? or ICE? I bet you think ICE is the only one.

You do realize that CBP's delegation of authority is.......the border, yes? Ports of entry? They have no legal mandate to handle interior immigration matters unless otherwise directed to by DHS or ICE.

That's my entire point. ICE's role is to handle interior immigration matters and find/deport illegal aliens, and the Democrats want to completely strip the entire capability away from the Government.

Once they're in and past CBP at the borders, it's home free!

Of course not. The hordes of millionaire and billionaires in SF aren't stupid enough to believe that socialism could ever bring them the wealth and corporate innovation that they've cashed in on.

They just have to pay lip service to their political masters out there since if you want to live in SF/SV, you have to be absolutely filthy rich while claiming to not really want that wealth and to champion pipedream socialist ideas that may never happen.

Meanwhile most of the citizens out there can't afford anything since these guys are driving up the cost of everything.

Let's talk about super liberal Mark Zuckerburg's love of building walls around his property.
