Do the Alcatraz night tour!!!!!! The trolley museum is pretty neat too. There is an old timey arcade that was fun too over on one of the piers. Go find the fortune cookie ladies in an alley in Chinatown. I don't think there is a bad restaurant there, Cha Cha Cha was damn good over in Ashbury haight or maybe that was the sangria.

alcatraz sells out early so if you are going to visit, book early. visit buena vista cafe for the original irish coffee, go see Larry he has been tending bar there 40+ years. Hit the Tonga Room in the basement of the Fairmont near Nob hill, great place to grab a drink. The nearby Ritz lobby bar is a great place to see the rich and famous and walkable to Chinatown

Scoma's - outstanding seafood restaurant on the water. Fisherman's Wharf is ok. Scoma's is outstanding.
Went to Scoma's & thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I liked visiting Alcatraz. Took in a decent chunk of a Giants game. Was cool. Drove across to Oakland after a Raiders game saw some remnants in the lots... Wouldn't want to get in a fight with those people. Didn't look like they had a lot to lose. People of Wal Mart meets NFL.

Find out where Kaepernick eats, go there then slap the patriotism back into him.

Look at me. I'm standing up against minority oppression by sitting down. Standing up...by sitting down. Idiot

Scoma's sucks balls. The only thing that is good about it, is that it is a relic. Overpriced, and full of old farts who don't know any better.

Spend a weekend afternoon drinking at Zeitgeist. Kind of a punk rock/heavy metal bar, but with a really cool outdoor area.
Mission Chinese Food.
Nopalito, some of the best fancier mexican within a short walk of Haight.
Bacalone, in the ferry building. Just get some cured meats to munch on while walking around the other cool stuff in the Ferry Building.

Going up to Sonoma or Napa?
Lagunitas is just north of SF. Great outdoor area to try their beers. In Petaluma.
La Crema tasting room in Healdsburg.
Chalkboard, restaurant in Healdsburg.
Russian River Brewery in Santa Rosa... you can drink great beer while NOT going to Guy Fieri's restaurants.
Oxbow Market in Napa.
Chandon sparkling wine maker has incredible grounds for walking around drinking bubbly.

Do you have any Travel To Do Lists which are not 100% eating or drinking?

No.

I understand that this is strange for an uncultured toolbag like yourself who thinks hanging out in Fisherman's Wharf and eating at Bubba Gump's is getting a real feel for the area. Walking around neighborhoods, eating and drinking in local places, and meeting locals, is the best way to see and understand a culture.

I find it funneh that a fat douche like you thinks that flying first class, feeding his gullet and getting drunk for a few days somehow gives him a superior understanding of a particular culture. You are waaaaay worse then the typical tourist as you think your self guided 3 day drunken "immersions" into a community make you superior. Believe me, the locals would prefer you keep your fat ass on fisherman's wharf.

Yea, see, I already do all of that.

However, I also mix in things that don't involve a plate or a glass. As far as I can tell, your vacation schedule is sleep, eat, nap, eat, drink, pass out, eat, sleep. The time in between meals is just an annoyance for you.

LOLOLOLOL at La Crema.

As for SF, if you're looking for good food in an atmosphere that doesn't feel "stuck up" then these are my favorites:

R&G Lounge - Authentic Chinese in Chinatown
Wayfare Tavern - American...great burger
Trattoria Contadina - Italian
Kokkari - Greek...arguably my favorite SF spot
Hog Island Oyster Co. - Local seafood
Bask - Spanish

Not going to have a car. Going to Napa and Sonoma on bus tour (more time efficient since don't have a lot of time), but stopping at oxbow market for lunch. Looks good. Anything you recommend?

Get a seat at the bar in Mario's Cigar Bar in North Beach for some delicious food and good beer. It's very small though so bring some nose plugs to block the smell of the hipsters.

A beautiful, FREE thing to do is to take a stroll down the Filbert steps. It's a beautiful garden taken care of by the locals and is practically their backyard. You won't believe how they live. The entrance should be easy to find on Google maps.

Fatted Calf.

Probably some of the best pizza I've had anywhere. Sit at the bar.

I 2nd Oxbow Market. Great place to get a verity of some really good food for lunch.

Take the big bus hop on hop off. Great way to see the city without walking too much. Lots of hills and its seams like everywhere you go is uphill.
