Do you think there will be more sanctions from the NCAA beyond what UCF imposed themselves today?

Yes. I'm not sure why they didn't reduce scholarships for football? They were on probation and got off easier than basketball.

They stated in the response that the reduction in a basketball scholarship was in response to having an ineligible player (Rompza) playing on the basketball team the last couple of years. Its not related to the severity of the allegations, it's an attempt to have the punishment fit the crime. We had an ineligible player on scholarship, so we will take away a scholarship as a response. Football never had any players involved in all of this ever play on the team.

I expect the NCAA will add a couple of things on just to make it look like they are doing something. Nothing huge.
