My guess is we will not be bowling this year. We are not going to beat South Carolina and it is highly unlikely we win 6 conference games.

With Jordan Akins going down (what is it with the first few minutes of the game), even if Holman comes back in a few more weeks, we're going to have serious issues with offensive production.

As much as the FIU loss is on play calling, and we get way too conservative in general, this game should have proved we've now -- with the injuries -- got bigger issues than just play calling on offense. We really have gone into our depth chart and are relying on inexperience more than we ever wanted to.

Some of that is on coaching. But it's literally on all the injuries and lack of experience too. It happens. It's happened to other teams in our conference too, start off great, then get hit by injuries.

We just lost to a I-AA team and you are talking about bowls??? You do realize we will be lucky to not go winless this year considering we just lost our easiest game.

I don't think Holman is going to make that much difference, especially if we don't improve around him. I don't see us going winless though.

I do ... however ... have to admit that this could be worse than the 2004 season and the 0-17 drought because we did lose to a lower division team. That hasn't happened since 1995.

We will be extremely lucky to win 1 game. Bowl game is way out the question now.
If Holman comes back and is healthy, I say we win at least 2 games. Ideally it would be nice to win half of our conference games. But we really have limited experience right now, even if Holman comes back.

We have zero run game. Teams can just play 4 down and flush out the pass. Of course with 4 they are still getting massive pressure.
