In fairness we don't know the situation . She ripped him for taking this job with Trump . Maybe she didn't allow him to be there . I'm not blindly defending him but when wives are becoming ex wives they inflict pain and punishment
The article explains it pretty well. They filed for divorce three weeks ago, they were making plans for him to go to the birth, which was due in August, but the baby came early and quickly while he was in WV. It made for a damning headline though.

Kelly may be able to force WH employees to be filtered through him to get to the president. But what's stopping Trump from picking up the phone and calling other staff? Everyone knows Trump wants people around him, he likes having other staff members fight/compete for attention and ideas, etc. It would be an impressive change if he actually pulls that off.
