UCF is in the midst of a battle to hang on to Kilgore (Tex.) College defensive lineman DeQuinton Osborne, who committed to the Knights in December.

The NJCAA All-American gave high marks to an Indiana official visit this past weekend and on Sunday afternoon tweeted news of a new scholarship from Baylor.

Earlier on Sunday, Osborne indicated he was still with UCF but cracked the door that he was still exploring his options.

"I couldn't say what's next for me in recruiting because I have no idea," Osborne told the Rivals.com Indiana site, Peegs.com. "Everything is pretty much up in the air for me right now. I am still verbally committed to Central Florida, but I need to speak with my parents and see how they feel about everything. I need to consider what everybody has to offer and I do like Indiana."

Upon his return to Texas late on Sunday afternoon, Baylor officially put their hat into the ring.

Osborne committed to UCF on Dec. 13 at the conclusion of his official visit.

His conference's Defensive Player of the Year, Osborne finished his sophomore season with 61 tackles, six sacks, 17 tackles for loss and an interception. The Grand Prairie, Tex., native began his career at Missouri before transferring to Kilgore.
