"Tyson, whom liberals love because they are racists who can’t believe a black guy could be smart enough to be a scientist"
Lost me at that idiotic assumption. But I started to read it anyway. And laughed because in the first few paragraphs they are bashing him because he has said there was racism while he was going to school, and then they bash him for not getting the "PhD he was studying for at the University of Texas and had to go elsewhere for his qualification"- yeah he ended up at Columbia University, not exactly a crappy Devry online degree. And he's right- in the 1980's for a black person in science, there WAS racism, it's common knowledge!
Then they bash him for "playing in bands and appearing on stage instead of completing essays. Typical science PhD students are at any given time either studying, teaching or sleeping." as if, god forbid, a student earning his PhD should ever be doing anything to relax. And in the article they linked in that same statement, it showed that he DID take his studies seriously, but he also valued a balance in his academic journey (this is from that article): He also joined UT’s competitive dance, rowing, and wrestling teams—unusual activities for a PhD student. “I should’ve spent more time in the lab,” Tyson admits, “but that wasn’t me. I took my studies very seriously, but I also did these other pursuits.”
And then he goes on to admit (in that same article lined by the article you posted): “With or without skin color, I wasn’t the model student,” he adds. “There was simply no room for me to be the full person that I was. If race was at play in all this, it was only at the edges of the experience.” - which is in STARK contrast to the article you linked that painted him as blaming all academic failures on racism. He did experience racism, but he admits his failures at UT were his own fault. And then he went on to correct those by earning his PhD at a different, and some could argue better, university.
And that's just the first little part of this article that is full of totally biased, inaccurate, contradictory, poor reporting.
I mean, if you don't like the guy, cool- but find a better article to bash him with.
. He is partially responsible for my mindset in believing you can be progressive/liberal and not have to depend on government to move.
...
This is one of the better takedowns of NDT, resident "faux science" guy and champion of snarky liberals nationwide.
It's 100% true that the guy is not a scientist; he's a cheerleader for the left and its' causes, and he simply bundles them up "in the name of science" to sell to the left wing drivel who eat it with their mouths wide open.
You know he's not a scientist because a scientist is capable of admitting when he/she is wrong and revise their thesis accordingly. This guy has been wrong, REALLY wrong, so many times yet he is incapable of accepting it and admitting it. I guess doing so might jeopardize his left wing cult following.

Merry Christmas!
Wait, "scientist who are actually really stupid" was the actual headline and not your commentary?? Does the editorial staff for that place consist of a bunch of 12 year olds?
