The artist is obviously racist. It's such an offensive microaggressions. They couldn't draw a scene that showed the white guys reclining?

I kind of expect that often happens in a court full of 70 to 85 year olds. The press will make a big deal of it being Thomas, if it was Ginsberg we would never had heard about it.
Clarence is 67. It's long been rumored that he nods off when court is in session and he asked his first question in 10 damn years this year. 10. damn. years.
And let's not forget that he also fell asleep during Obama's inauguration in 2009.
Not many know that "CJ" Thomas is an avid recreational vehicle owner. When court is not in session, he and the wife are traveling the USA in their 18 wheeler whip. He wasn't sleeping at all. He was praying.
Right before someone speaks he says to himself "white people be like...", then he closes his eyes and listens. Same thing I do when I read the political threads on this board.
The point still stands, People over 60 often don't sleep well at night, and nod off during the day.
I slept thru as much of the last 7 years as possible. Not like I missed much good stuff.
You could have combined all that into one post and saved yourself some zzzzzzzzzzzzs, old man.
I doubt that. There would plenty of opportunity for people to go after Ginsburg or any other justice too. Maybe the facts just don't support the idea that Ginsburg is nodding off. Maybe the facts support only Thomas sleeping.
She fell asleep in the state of the Union and it made quite a bit of news. As far as not asking a question, it was a style. Justice Thomas has offered his share of opinions and no one can question his mental accumen.

Too bad he wasn't actually asleep, according to the sketch artist. The rumors that he nods off are false as well.
If you read his opinions, you'd know that he's at least engaged. He preferred to let Scalia and others take the lead and that was his style. Once Scalia passed, he got a bit more active.

fantastic. So we can expect more than one question in the next 10 years? I'm so glad he's engaged. Wouldn't want to bother his daydreaming.
