Scott Frost under investigation

holding unauthorized practices under a plot to actively deceive school compliance officials

recruits would be well warned to stay clear of that program under frost as this is just the tip of the iceberg

the SEC can form a super league under everyones nose, who cares what contract they signed, who cares what the GOR says and the NCAA can find nothing wrong with that but other schools cant hold an extra practice to try and compete with the semi-pro-NFL-SEC empire without facing the death penalty.

Again Frost should have stayed. Living by the water eating Wawa subs wasn't a bad job.
He's making like 4X more money at his alma mater. Tell me you wouldn't turn down a quadrupled paycheck. If and when he fails at Nebraska, he will also have the UCFs of the world who will welcome him back with open arms. When you have a chance to move up, you take it.

He’s going to have a show cause follow him. He’ll be out of coaching for a couple years.

Not if Guz does what Frost did here a few years ago…

His buyout is 20x his UCF salary. And his salary the last 3 years was 4x. So if he gets fired, he will have made 30 years worth of UCF salary. You make that deal every time, even if you have to sit out a couple years.

Don’t forget to take out Nebraska taxes. Then take out 70% to give to wife for alimony and child support.

He will be our next OC. There won’t be a show cause..NCAA has no power anymore.

If Briles didn’t get anything after the Baylor fiasco he isn’t getting a show cause.

Desperate people do desperate things. I'd say Frost is getting a little heat.

Briles didn’t break any NCAA rules. Possibly criminal but he wasn’t arrested. Some other guy at Baylor got a 5 year show cause.

Very true money rules all but it wasn't like he was poor either lol. Stress is no fun. But i get your point 100%

He seems to have a rather seedy reputation and this comes after the accusations related to his separation with his wife. Perhaps just like our most recent coach going to the Vols, we continue with good fortune coming our way.

I’m watching a podcast with Taylor Lewan and a former Nebraska guy Compton. Had Bo Pelini on. Was pretty interesting. Talking how he was winning 9 and 10 per year and they hated him while other coaches win 5 or 6 get extensions.

Maybe, maybe not. Not winning sucks, especially when that is the #1 purpose of your job. He could have kept winning at UCF, at least riding out Milton and maybe the next QB (which still would have been Gabriel). Then he would have gotten a big payday anyways, at a better job than Nebraska. He’s young. It’s not like athletes, where your career normally ends in your late 30s. That said, he’s in a no-lose situation and he has set himself up financially for life, no matter what happens and there is no downside to that.

Why is this UCF fan so interested in Scott Frost's marriage? And how does he have so many contacts in the state of Nebraska? And what is this message board?
People love to sling mud towards perceived adversaries (coaches and players of opposing schools/teams is not an actual enemy). Yet if their married school coach goes undefeated and knocks up a 20 year old the next day, the topic will be, how do we get this guy enough money to stay here for 10 years.

That’s a weird hypothetical to pose on this thread

He left, he said UCF was great, for 2-3 years, but not something I want to do for longer than 2-3 years.. UCF is so-so when compared to a P5. Why in the heck should I stay? Hey, 2-3 years at a G5 school as HC should make me great as a HC. I know everything. Who needs to learn more at some low G5 school. 2 years as a HC at G5 is enough. Yah, they had the silly National Championship thing (the rest may be exaggeration but he ran away from the UCF NC as fast as......(was going to put in a slur against Our Dear Leader and Afghanistan). Why in the heck should we care about how Frost is doing? I wished him the greatest success in his personal life (oh well) but hoped he never won a game as long as he's not UCF's HC. The boob should have stayed at a G5 HC position till he learned all the inns and outs of a HC position. If he did, even if he left UCF after 2 or so years to go to some other G5, maybe he would have learned to be a HC. Soon, he'll be back at a G5 re-learning the HC position. As for ex-UCFers turned coach, here's hoping he keeps you because with the people in control of UCF right now, I'm doubting anyone gives a crap about them. They'll want there own guys. (Which of course also means, not one would have been kept on staff at this time of year so they all made the right decision to leave.) Hey, at least he has the money, he won't be remembered as a great coach, but he has money. (so do a lot of other boobs).

It's weird that a coaches marriage status is discussed on a college football board.
It's not his marriage status per say people are talking about. Someone mentioned he looked super frustrated or stressed and also notes he wasn't wearing a ring.. I think people are just thinking how this may be a contributing factor to Nebraskas demise.

It was discussed on here quite a while ago about him cheating on wife and coaches seen doing drugs at a local hangout. She left him and moved to Florida was the rumor. Then a month or so ago the allegations of cheating as a coach surfaced.

You guys need to let him go. I don't care what he does Marriage, or career wise. I don't wish him well nor evil. He was a good coach for us, and not so good for Nebraska. I said when he left I didn't think the system would work there. Nebraska needs to be a big power type team.
