You always hate to see injuries whenever they happen, but this one especially. At the tail-end of the spring game, with only a couple minutes to go, offensive guard Adrian Medley suffered some sort of apparent knee injury. He was on the ground for a few moments before his teammates helped him off. I'm hearing he ended up suffering an ACL/MCL which obviously means surgery. Because it happened so late, that's likely season ending as well.
Medley was having a good spring. He had been waiting for his turn to start and with Cole Schneider graduating, it looked like that was finally going to happen.
While it's not good news, UCF does have some depth on the OL. I'm not entirely sure what they'll do, but Sam Jackson could slide over to guard as could Ed Collins.
