We knew about this homicidal lunatic before since had has killed 3 different people in Seminole Heights already but he killed another person 2 days ago. Some poor 60 year old soup kitchen worker just crossing the street at daybreak.

All of this is happening within a very small radius in Seminole Heights.

FBI now has a small army on the scene and they're going door to door since they think this asshole lives there somewhere.

Nuts

What links the killings? The only thing I've seen that ties them together is the location and time (which is generally just "night"). That's certainly a pattern but is that enough to say it's a single individual?

There's probably more to it that we don't know about. The FBI is controlling the info and may have asked the media not to report on certain things because it risks the killer learning what they've caught onto about other patterns.

You have random killings, in a very small area, all being carried out overnight, and all by an individual that has managed to shoot and get away quickly before cops can find him. The fact that he has been so easily slipping away tells you something.

This is not domestic or gang related violence. It'd be shocking if these were all separate killers.

Yeah - although from what I've read/heard it's not a great area - it's not like the Southside of Chicago. 4 killings, all around the same time and area - there's probably a connection. I'm sure there is some sort of ballistic evidence too as someone else posted.

It's actually not that bad. Seminole Heights has sort of developed into a new hipster'ish area, complete with really nice renovated bugalo and small homes that younger people are buying since they're affordable compared to S Tampa prices. There's also "foodie" places opening in Seminole Heights like Fodder and Shine.

I wouldn't describe it as a high crime area of anything remotely close to S Chicago.
