No doubt his guys play hard. There are no prima donnas on that side of the ball, and they all play hard. That's what makes T-Will so effective as a D coordinator.

He may not want to work as a DC and take on a role w/more responsibility. If he wants to continue as a DC I would say bump his salary and make it enticing to stay. I'm a believer in paying for performance. Half way through the season he has assumed a strong command of his D, delivered on the field, and most importantly earned respect from his guys. This is no easy feat.

For all the badmouthing on here, we are currently ranked the #18 team offense (on the NCAA site) with 483 yds/game. That’s not too shabby. We just need to be more consistent. Maybe we’ll get better each game. I guess we’ll see.
BTW, we are the #41 defense.

Agree. Our defense plays conservative around mid field and gives up yards but then seems to dial up the pressure more once a team crosses the 30. It works. Our offense has been good at getting yards but not as effective getting points. Last i checked the winning team ends the game with more points

How about we pay him little for the first half of the season, then pay him what he's worth when he wakes up- after half time.
edit--- just not convinced he's so great since we've only been alive 2nd half. We've had a lot of luck v. bad teams who couldn't take advantage of our mediocre 1st half defense. Full credit to him, 2nd half in several games has been amazing. 1st half, looks like the DC has no idea what the other guys would be doing.

Dude, are you drunk? Twill has been awesome, our defense has been awesome. You need to relax.
Do you see who we're playing? Do you realize that we're giving up as much/more yards than UMass, Memphis, Rutgers, Duke in 1 half than they gave up the entire game? You do realize it's Temple. They really aren't that good. Maybe you should look at your drug utilization and find reality.
PS. not saying he doesn't finally wake up in the 2nd half, but it really looks like he has no idea what to do in the 1st. If Milton can improve tremendously his 2nd year, then our DC can next year. I love him, but there's very little chance he gets hired away, unless he wants a HC at a G5, which is a good job by the way. I'm excited about him, but he has to be better against a bad team like Temple.

Temple came off a bye week and clearly had a script for first quarter and they executed wel. Once twill figured it out we shut them down

Yeah, like I was saying…relax and let Twill be Twill. We all have sung his praises, witnessed how well he has been after 1st quarter. Like, we have a good defense, why were ppl questioning him in the 1st quarter? Just stupid as hell man.

Didn't age well. Maybe you need to realize we've played not 1 good team. But relax, some day he'll be a great coach, I really believe it. We just don't have to worry about losing him this year. 3 loss ECU. Didn't age well did it?
