Shout out to a sort of off the radar player. Isn't he the last remaining player from our Fiesta bowl winnng team? Seems like he's been around forever!

Been through a lot. Forced into action in 2013 as a true freshman because of injuries to the defensive line, injured himself, the 0-12 season of 2015, etc.

Nice to see him "Bull rush" right into the guy blocking him, then right into the QB and record a sack. Perseverance pays off!

That Bull Rush was a thing of beauty!
I could watch that over and over.

Anyone have the clip to post?

Here's the full game. Happens around 1:53:00

PS the non-fair catch is at 16:30. Can't tell if he waved or not, camera was panning too quickly, but Fox never showed a replay, so I assume he waved happened.

That was just not fair. Looked like they were running over cheerleaders
What's amazing is how fast they all got there. Lowry on just a straight bull rush. Wooten on an outside stunt and Burkett on the delayed blitz.

They must call it a Bull rush for a reason. Super impressive. It was like a seek and destroy mission. Don't think or do anything else, but go 100% at the QB and kill anything in the way.

Definitely not the delayed, hesitant, pregnant cow rush.

Would be an ideal time for Griffin to have his breakout game for 2017 this Saturday against Memphis. Put the fear of God into Ferguson. Teams have to be game planning for him, but how long can they continue to do that if the rest of the front 7 dominates like they did @Maryland. Pick your poison.

Right. And this year they have the depth to give him a rest. He'd get worn down at the end of games. Same thing with Smith. Opponents throw their best cover guy at him or double team. That didn't work vs. Maryland, so Memphis may give more attention to Akins and the other tight ends, as well as using DB's more on run blitzes to slow our running game down.
