Saw Andrew Luck yesterday talking about his new role at Stanford as their GM. I think this will eventually be common. I think that is a role for guys that are great recruiters. Would this be a good position for a guy like Sean Beckton or Kam Martin. It will be different from an NFL GM. It would be nice to have a coach be able to coach more and recruit less in season. Imagine if Gus was the GM and didn’t have an impact on games. It may have worked out.
