SMU paying recruits again?

look at their class and prospects for 2021. Hard to believe they are holding their own with teams like LSU and Texas.

Every program probably “pays” recruits nowadays but their change in recruiting this year is ludicrous and has no logical explanation

Not directly from school or representatives, but it will be. Oregon and Maryland will be getting 5 stars on the regular.

I looked at their recruits. What's out of line about their recruits, other than the QB? Except for one other kid, they are all 5.5 or 5.6 rated players. We all know what 90% of ratings are worth...about the same as shooting craps at a casino. SMU is a pretty prestigious school. Maybe the kid just wants to go there. He can always transfer somewhere "better" down the road anyways.
