UConn must of had a lucky night of shooting against us because they are stinking it up against SMU.

It's what we did to Temple. That's what SMU does to most teams -- smothering defense. We were lucky to get 40 against them the past 2 seasons. Also, SMU has won 10 of last 11, the loss by two points at Cincy! Finally, they're unbeaten at home.

The important game to us is the Houston vs. Memphis game. If we are to finish 3rd in the conference, we need to beat out both these teams. Cincy and SMU are most likely 1st and 2nd (unless we can sweep Cincy or some other bizarre thing like that). Houston is better than Memphis, so it'd be nice get some help with a Memphis win tonight.

Houston and Memphis just went into OT. Bet lots of UCF players watching it for our Sunday game.
Update: Houston tired, turned it over in OT. The Lawson brothers each had double-doubles and had 46 of Memphis' 70 points for the win. We're going to have a battle at Memphis Sunday. The great Tubby Smith has the Tigers playing better defense now and they run a great weave on offense. The older Lawson is a wonderful passer if you double team him in the post. Their weaknesses: poor FT shooting, not good at 3-pointers, and prone to turnovers.

Amazing game. Memphis jumped to an 8 point lead early. Houston clawed back. Took the lead late in 1st half and never lost it until the last 2 mins or so of the game. Houston gets blocked and luckily got the ball for a last second layup to tie and bring it to OT. Memphis with older Lawson fouled out dominates in OT for the win.

Like you said. When Memphis decides to play defense they are a very dangerous team.
