Adidas are the same way, which sucks for me because they fit my feet better than any other shoe. The last pair of Nikes I bought lasted about 6 weeks and the sole literally came off the shoe. Got so disgusted that I just started buying 29 dollar Avias from walmart. I only get a month out of them before the sole is completely slick but at least I didn't pay 69 for the same quality.

I stopped buying Nike years ago because they are horrible shoes. Between my two boys, a competitive tennis playing wife and myself we were paying close to $1,000 a year. I bought a pair of HOKA running shoes earlier this year for the gapsarilla 10k and fell in love with them. My wife switched to Babolat shoes and loves them as well.

Exactly. Nike’s are overpriced and don’t give me enough support for longer runs. I’m not 150-160 lbs anymore.

I have now gone with ASICS for years.

Maybe I can get a nice pair of Nikes to fit my needs if I paid $100-$150 for running shoes, but I simply don’t want to if I’m not running competitively like in high school and college

Are there many reasons we can, and should, celebrate the founding of our country? You bet! In fact, there are plenty -- in particular, the American Constitution. It represents ideas for governance that continue to be truly special and unique in the annals of mankind.

But we were far from perfect and former symbols used to 'celebrate' that period of time when slavery was the law of the land should be avoided. There's just no good reason to go there.
