If he’s the starting QB all next year he should give up baseball. He didn’t do much at Mississippi and sitting out this year.

Has MLB drafted him yet? If so, then at least they have their eye on him, so give football a full effort and it not happen- maybe baseball would be a fallback.

I don't see any benefit of diversifying and playing both sports with the exception that JRP only wants to play QB... I imagine if he doesn't play QB he will go full baseball route.

This is one thing that bothered me since day 1. It's not like he has Russell Wilson's skill set at QB.....even NC State didn't want a QB1/baseball guy....hello Wisconsin......and Godfrey was so close to beating NC St that year.

If JRP can throw and demonstrate that he's an effective dual threat QB he'll start....as a runner, he's far more dynamic and exciting than our other QB's. So, it's all about the accuracy...
