They will all suck on the ESPN tit for as long as they can. In 2025 the negotiations may well be individual rather than conference depending upon the shift in technology and broadcasting.
Okla and Okla St. go first. Texas will flirt with it, but when the PAC comes back with a NO- no you can't have your own network (wont be a big deal because PAC contract would give them more $), and NO we don't give a damn how many politicians in Texas have power, We are Cali., Oregon, Wash. etc. we don't care what politician in Texas say, so Yes you'll be a small fish in a big pond, not the head cheese; thats when Texas (who by that time will have at least a decade of them not being of any importance in football) will stay in the Big 8.
By that time, UCF masters the new tech that lets them keep the majority if not all of the $ from it, Frost gets us winning, and the Big 8's new money deal won't be worth it for UCF to join. Too little too late.
