Something we can all agree on…

Watching that brings all the memories back. What an incredible team!!! Bittersweet watching Otis, though. Not sure we’ll ever have a team as magical as this one.

Dennis the Menace looks like he's aged a decade since being at Nebraska. Hope the extra money was worth it. It's not like he couldn't pay his bills with what we were paying him (and he would have gotten a raise for sure). A good thing sitting right in front of him, that he walked away from, is something that will certainly haunt him the rest of his days.

My wife once said that Frost was thinking he was Brad Pitt... already with Jennifer Aniston but wanted Angelina Jolie. And look how both of those situations turned out.

Looks like a slow news day, sometimes it’s fun to look back.
First 3 TD’s of the year:
1) Jordan Akins…NFL
2) TreQuan Smith…NFL
3) Gabe Davis…NFL
Mike Hughes...NFL
Matthew Wright...NFL
Jamiyus Pittman....NFL (part of one season....2018 with the Dolphins)
Jordam Franks...NFL (part of one season...Cincy)
Shaqueem Griffin....NFL

Team was loaded.

Doubt he regrets it. He would have really regretted passing up the opportunity to live near his dad during the last couple years of his life.

That's assuming everything turns out fine at UCF as well, which many don't think he's that good of a coach to begin with. In the end he chose home and his alma mater. Many on here would choose UCF over a better situation, if the roles were reversed, because of what the school means to them.

Even if people still buy DVDs they probably don’t have a DVD player. There isn’t much of a reason too. Everything is streaming now.

I think the success would have kept rolling . Frost was the perfect fit at UCF. As of now he is my favorite coach in Program history

I feel the same way, he and his coaching staff were young and relatable. You almost can’t blame him for not being able to win in Nebraska, you can more blame Nebraska. They rely on FL/Ga, TX and Cali kids coming and now they have to actually stay. I’ve never been, but it sounds terrible to a FL born and raised person, I wouldn’t even want to spend 2 weeks in Nebraska.

Of those 3, Gabe Davis looks like he has potential to be an NFL great. Tre’quan is solid too.
Bet you the Saints leave him behind. This would have been the year to shine but starts out injured then only has 40 some catches. Press gives him and other WR 'disappointing' grades giving passing attention to who's throwing it to them. So I'm betting he's on another team next year. Same can be said for Aikens, they basically gave up on him halfway through the season. By the way, Killings is still in the NFL, IR Denver.

All anyone can ask for is an opportunity and all those guys have it. Glad to hear Killins is still in the NFL too.

Agreed, that's partly what makes it so emotional to watch for me, they really had only just started coalescing as a group. I think Frost rolls big with recruiting, no question they go undefeated again and Milton, god bless him, lives up to every drop of potential and becomes a bonafide star. Truly happy with how we've ended up but that year really was perfection. But rather than getting a bit of a dynasty, we have this amazing, legendary, almost mythical season. And that's not such a bad thing after all.

On the undefeated, National Champ, year, how did UCF not produce a DVD collection of all the games? Or did I miss it/or am the only one who would buy it?
Check out this mash up done on You Tube called " The Legend of 2017 UCF Knights" with all the Knight Flics done in 2017. Pretty much encapsulated the whole year including Frosty leaving us, Auburn and post Auburn. Well worth the almost two hours.

This is going to need an update in 2 years
