Btw, the fumble you couldn’t remember was on the snap. We lined up JRP under center and it Looked like the ball never made it to him, almost like the center snapped it into his own leg.

Thats what I saw. He snapped it right into his own ankle. JRP never got the ball. Need to practice more under center if we're going to attempt it in a game haha.

I was really confused as to why they went from the shotgun to under center like they did. Weird play call, worse execution.

I hate it when teams go shotgun at the goal line. I guess I'll have to accept it if this is going to be the result.

The shotgun RPO is great for a qb to have extra time to see the field and make decisions. Eyes are always forward with extra space, give you extra valuable time to see the whole field. And if you don’t normally do something (like qb under center) you probably shouldn’t do it at a critical juncture. I feel like nearly every CFB team runs out of the shotgun these days and a ton in the pros too.
