Of course the black at the end was from Tony's POV, the entire episode was shot that way and they foreshadowed the last moment the entire season. Not sure why the people that worked on the show insist they don't know what his fate was.

Still haven't found a series better than the Sopranos on TV.

It was certainly a great TV series (even with some horse dream-sequence and/or a not-so-great episode or two).

I think the Sopranos might have been the last time I had to watch a show live that time/day (other than sports).

Now...almost nothing on TV is "appointment television" besides sports.

Breaking bad was ok, but Walter White was no Tony Soprano. At least I could identify with Tony and Carmella in some way despite how horrible they were. There was nothing likable about Walter or Skyler, both were total POS.

Tony Soprano was corrupted from the get go. Walter White's corruption took time. It's a push.

Agree about Skyler....but Walter ended up being a great character.

Huge difference between Breaking Bad and Sopranos...Sopranos had a huge ensemble cast (minus Tony's son)...with many great characters/personalities...which is why it was such a great series.

Anyone who thinks BB was better than the Sopranos needs to have their head examined.

Just finished The Sopranos last night on Amazon Instant, really great show. Had heard about the controversial ending, but ending made sense.
