Houston is hosting a Regional (maybe the American's best chance of getting a team into a Super Regional). ECU will play down in Coral Gables. Tulane is heading to Baton Rouge. USF will be in an all-Florida Gainesville Regional. The American got only four bids even though the conference is ranked 3rd in the country in terms of RPI.

Look at all these Florida teams on the road to Omaha. Rooney just turned off onto the road to the unemployment line.
 
Yep, we're in great company with Bethune Cookman, Stetson, and Florida Gulf Coast, all of whom also failed to make it to the Regionals. One more year for Rooney . . . if we don't at least get to a Super Regional in 2016, then :thumbsdown::thumbsdown:
