Spectre (Spoilers)

[Ace of Knights]

Anyone else see it? I wasn't a fan. I knew it wouldn't live up to SkyFall. But it almost felt like I was watching a Pierce Brosnan Bond movie. Crazy unrealistic action and a little campy. More so than other Daniel Craig Bond's.

Effer and I went Friday night (parents night out, woo!). I enjoyed it. Not the best of the 4 but I really liked how it tied many (all?) of the movies together, particularly the last 3. I didn't care for some of the action (plane scene), but there were a few parts where Bond looked like a total badass, (train scene, escape scene)

It is a James Bond film after all. If you don't expect the campy, over the top action, or corny as hell humor, I don't know what you were expecting out of the movie.

Sure. I expected over the top action. But I felt like the 3 latest movies did a good job of getting away from campiness just for the sake of it. I liked how they tied Casino Royale and Quantum to this one. But the attempt to tie SkyFall in wasn't needed. There was no indication it was part of something else before and it stood well on its own.

But yeah, loved the train scene.

Saw it yesterday. Like Rogerz said, it's a JB film. You get what you get. They could've trimmed the fat a little, was too long.

Didn't suck but I wont seek a re watch anytime soon.

It was a pretty good James Bond movie, just not great after Skyfall was one of the best.
There was plenty of Action. Agree on the good to see, not really needed to be seen again comment. I say it is a 6 out of 10.

Couldn't tell you the last Bond movie I saw. Shit was hot fire til meh 14-15 years old.
