Just wondering what effect the injuries, etc. have had on the scout team's ability to replicate the opponents. Pittman in the UCONN postgame said "it's what we've seen all week, we just didn't get it done." I'm wondering with what we have left of scout team players, it has to be giving our defense false confidence in preparation. Key point is whenever we play against someone mildly athletic at the FBS level, we can't track them down and if we get there, we can't make a tackle. With a slew of freshman and walk-ons upgraded to starting or playing time roles, it doesn't leave a lot of skilled or athletic guys to show ourselves what we will see on Saturday.
