Spider-man is now officially MCU

Sony still has final control but we can hope that marvel/disney will reign them in...

they say the next time you see spider-man he will be in an MCU film and after that we will get MCU characters in spiderman movies

Im very excited about this. I agree he was great as spiderman and I dont think you give him enough credit for Peter Parker. He was much better than the last guy, he was terrible. You are right, the parent angle was a little funky in this reboot.

This is pretty cool. Sony obviously had no choice. The new reboots were not working like they wanted and Spiderman's stand alone universe without the rest of the Marvel gang, is pretty limited. They're talking about JK Simmons coming back as J.Jonah Jameson as well. At least that's what JK told Howard Stern. Word is that Disney isn't interested interinterested in the X-Men. Too many mutants and Characters to add into their already filling up lineup. But will go with the similar Inhumans storyline, instead. So basically instead of being mutants, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will be considered Inhumans.

Believe me Marvel wants the XMen back. They killed wolverine to get them back (or at least wolverine). If fox doesn't make a wolverine movie every so often (don't know the exact time frame) the rights go back to marvel. Marvel actually has plans to keep 616 wolverine dead as long as they have to...that being said, they have a huge universe shaking event coming this year which will essentially be marvel's crisis on infinite earths they will be destroying their multiverse and pushing everything into one new existence so we will see if he comes back...

Marvel has also tried to deal with fox to get galactus back. they didn't get him but they did get the celestials...

I personally don't see how fox makes any money on their movies as they suck compared to spiderman and the MCU movies...fantastic 4 was garbage, ff4-2 wasn't aweful...xmen 1, 2 and the last one were good but no where near an MCU movie and 3, and the 1st class and the 1st wolverine sucked major balls...

It would be nice if fox kept the rights but started to work with Disney just for quality sake. let them make the movies, and share characters but stop them from sucking...

I think FOX has to make 1 x-men movie every five years. If Jackman retires, FOX will have an issue but is already creating a younger cast with the new movies. I read that Disney wouldn't mind some of the core x-men, but not the world off hundreds of thousnds of other mutants fighting for their equal rights.
