Spraying up for games

Before going into the game, please don't forget to get your group to spray up and wear summer-weight long sleeves and pants for our early-season evening games (and ditch the sandals). With the standing water from all the rain, there's several mosquito transmitted virus besides Zika. The last thing we want is to give the media a chance to exploit a couple cases with ratings-boosting scare headlines that clobber our attendance.

Also if you have enough alcohol in your blood, it will kill any virus or bacteria the mosquito is carrying.

Those of us who were here 25 years ago, there were deaths resulting from mosquito-borne viruses, so public fear clobbered attendance at games just when the program was finally paying off its debt. The players won't have to worry. They are UCFast!! Mosquitos can't catch them. If we run a play every 8 seconds, mosquitos need more time
to land and bite.
