My initial thought was to call up Druin. Bolts will be in Brooklyn on Monday so have Druin come over from the Cuse area. But screw him.

I just hate that this happens again after all the injuries we had in the finals, then the early season injuries, only to get back Filps, callahan, and Kuch just before playoff time. I can see us getting by down 1 defenseman but also losing Stammer is a lot to overcome. This really sucks.

Hope I have't watched Stammer's last game and never even knew it at the time.....

Royally sucks but I still think they can get into the 2nd round with Bishop and everyone else healthy.

We need Hedman to have a postseason like he did last year.

I'm not sold that Stamkos is heading to Toronto. He loves it in Tampa, they're going to throw a lot of money at him, and Tampa is clearly better suited to win going forward that Toronto is. I don't think Vinik will let him get out of here.

I agree, Stamos does love Tampa and while home will always be in Toronto they are years away from even getting into the playoffs. He can always visit Toronto, once you get used to the weather in Florida, it's hard to move north.

If there's one hope, it's the fact that Stamkos was basically absent half of the playoffs last year and they won anyways. He didn't really come on until the 3rd series. And Bishop was playing hurt for most of them too.

Damn that really sucks. Didnt get to watch the game, was busy doing stuff around the house. I just hope that wasnt his last game for the Lighting. He's going to get paid wherever he decides to go. Lets just hope he decides to stay.

Like 85 said, the Lightning give him one of the best chances to get paid as well as win long term.
