I know a lot of people don't subscribe to Disney+ BUT if you are an Original Trilogy Star Wars fan and HAVEN'T seen The Mandalorian yet, you are really missing out!

Mrs Shuckster and I subscribed this past summer for our granddaughter but we discovered the first Season of the Mandalorian and really enjoyed it. The show runners, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni really understand what made the original Star Wars so special to so many people and brought that formula to the screen with this TV series. What's really cool about it is that each episode has the production values that make you feel as if you're watching a full-length feature film.

While I really enjoyed Season One, Season 2 rolled out over these past eight weeks and they truly blew me away. I would humbly put up Mandalorian Season 2's eight episodes up against anything as The Best Season of Series TV I've ever watched. While every episode was great, the last four episodes of this season were truly spectacular (but each in their own unique way.)

If you are a Star Wars fan and haven't seen it, I would strongly encourage you to subscribe even if it's just long enough to watch these two seasons. However, I would caution you NOT to binge watch it. These episodes need to be viewed at least one day apart from each other in order to savor them individually.

I'd love to hear the thoughts of others who have watched them.

Does Ironman die in the end?
Everybody gives credit to Marvel Head, Kevin Feige for creating the MCU, but it all started with Jon Favreau directing that first Ironman movie.

Favreau is going to do for Star Wars what Feige did for the Marvel movies.

I'd love for that to be true, I just can't get into star wars anymore. Too many screw-ups along the way to be fixed.

I'll tell whats a way underrated trilogy: Unbreakable-Split-Glass by M Night Shyamalan. I hope he continues on with it.

Honestly, I felt exactly the same way. I thought the last two Star Wars movies were horrible and that Disney had destroyed the franchise.

....so I wasn't all that hyped to watch The Mandalorian. But we had the channel so it was 'oh what the hell, let's check it out.' But by the end of the first episode, the wifey and I were hooked.

Since the season 2 finale came out a week ago, the internet has been all-a-buzz with Star Wars fanboys and fangirls saying, "Thank you Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, you brought back the 12-year old kid in me again---I've fallin back in love with Star Wars!"

So I've heard. My brother is a huge star wars geek, like he's the guy that watches the cartoon versions because they are Canon. He's trying pretty hard to get me to watch this series. I just don't see how they can fix the sequel trilogy without just rebooting it (which is what I think they should do). Then go back and fix the abortion that Lucas called episodes 1-3 with interim movies like they did with Rogue One.

I'm right there with your brother. Listen to him! :)

I suspect that down the road, they'll describe the sequels as "an alternative reality from 'a long time ago in another dimension'" and ignore them when it comes to all the new Star Wars series that the popularity of The Mandalorian is spawning in 2021 and 2022.

One of the things I've realized about The Mandalorian is that the Flash Gordon movie serials that inspired George with the original Star Wars is tailor-made for a TV series where you don't have to wait three years for the next chapter.
