Starbucks Bitter?

Shouldnt you be happy with Starbucks after they kicked those negroes out?

After all the bad publicity from this spring and closing 8,000 stores for an afternoon of anti-bias training,Starbucks announced yesterday that they will close 150 under performing stores and system wide sales are basically flat...and high sugar cold drink sales drop dramatically.

Now their stock tanks 10%.

There are way too many Starbucks. Granted, I like me some Starbucks. I actually enjoy their food options a lot.

heard they were going to move into more rural areas including the south. i wonder if we get a piece in the news paper about how a conservative south should avoid that liberal coffee company like we saw one about chickfila

Starbucks tried so hard to be the overpriced hang out for the hipster SJW crowd and now they're being eaten alive by those very SJWs. It's hilarious to watch.

Why anyone goes to Starbucks that has a choice is beyond me. It's the most overpriced shit that I've ever seen and 90% of their drinks are just sugar bombs that are sweetened to death.

They want $3 for a medium sized black iced coffee mostly filled by ice, while you can get an entire jug of Stok brand iced coffee at Publix for $5.

Starbucks will be fine. Class 85 hyperbole. Shocker.

lol! Their CEO came out yesterday and basically told investors not to expect relevant growth going forward. Hence why the stock tanked 10% yesterday. There are now plenty of competitors to Starbucks with better pricing and less pretentious SJW'ing in their stores to choose from.

BQ makes a generalized comment as fact. What a shocker.

LOL.

I know I laugh at 85 a lot, but if he seriously thinks he is getting a deal by buying a jug of Stok coldbrew for $5, he is dumber than I thought.

I work closely with Starbucks, on the new store side, not a lot to be concerned about with growth plans, especially on the licensed store side which continues to grow into different brands.

PS. I thought their new store model (like the one at Apopka Vineland/Conroy) was 100% improvement over their old cramped style.

Why does KL seem to have a Google news alert set up for Starbucks? It's the strangest thing about an extremely strange man.

i think we will start to see a return of the wax paper straws in the coming years

There will probably be a lot of paper products replacing petroleum products in the coming years, and while it may be more for economic reasons you can be sure that it will be marketed as being for envirommental sensitivity.

Go to the beaches, restaurants there pretty much only carry paper straws. The new style paper straws are much thicker and resistant to collapsing like the paper straws we used as kids in the 70's and 80's.

I’ve never seen the need for a straw personally with the exception of a slurpee back when I still drank soft drinks .

Hey...when I cruise around off road in my Chevy Silverado with my 80 oz refill container from 7-11, it helps to have a good lid and straw to enjoy on the go.*

I guess homeless blm's that buy nothing and are pretending to be having a business meeting is not a profitable customer base.
