Fumbled a kickoff and and stat line was 7 rushes for 16 yards.

He will most likely be cut. His fumbling problems WERE NOT easily corrected and they continue in the pros.

Blake looked great with his new mechanics. 11-15 passing with 3 drops.

Latavius Murray is the real deal with a very solid first half.

Yeah storm didn't look good. He's got three guys definitely in front of him, and the fourth guy, Pierce, was somehow a captain last night.
Blake looked great except for one overthrow. He should have a fine season.

Unlike the haters and doubters that like to kick a dog when he down, I believe in Storm. Got the right attitude and work ethic. Go hate elsewhere. Storm one of us for life.

Not sure why people get upset on here when we criticize our own players. Storms a man. I'm sure that he can take it and has already made a lot of money in the NFL. We can still be fans of UCF players and give honest critique. That's what people do on boards. Not post with blinders on.
Then we just shouldn't speak about them at all if they are doing poorly. How do we really know that he has a great work ethic and attitude?
Ok.., that Home Depot comment was a little unnecessary by another poster. However, there were so many people who were acting like Storm was a 1000+ yard NFL back pre-draft and were constantly posting how he will correct the "dancing" running style and the "fumble" problems when he turned pro. That's just not happening.
None of this will ever take anything away from the special and amazing contributions that his performance did for UCF. Especially during the 2013 season. He is a UCF lifer. Just my 2 cents.

I agree Mike. Jags have too many running backs. Not sure if Storm will make it. Luv him but facts are facts :)

You're dealing with a cast of characters on these boards. Free-for-all of sorts. Keep up the great posts Mike! :)

Real fans who go to practice know that Storm has a great work ethic and attitude. He was O'Leary's favorite at practice when Storm was sitting out for a year. That speaks volumes that fake fans won't get. Fake fans see 7 runs and a couple of "dance" moves and call a RB a dancer. Like 7 runs defines a person.

Storm like Josh Robinson was like a man playing among boys at practice. He is a physical beast. So with all that Storm has to offer, 7 bad runs won't kill his career.

Some of you need to think before you post.

Hes had more than 7 bad runs..add last years sta5s...or lack there of..then think before you post.

Yeah, the Jags give a 4 year contract to players they want to cut. Do you realize how dumb that sounds? That's what it's like for me every time I read your post.

If you think that Storm only had 7 "dance" runs throughout his career, then you obviously have a very limited football knowledge and attend too many "practices" and not enough home and away games and Jaguar games like us REAL fans.
Again.., you're embarrassing yourself by trying to be a wannabe fan that attends practice and criticizing the rest of us that don't. Typical overzealous old man.

I bet you're the guy who pulled the fire alarm in school and then tried to look good by helping evacuate the classroom.

You're very insecure!

I don't bet..just maybe open your eyes and watch him...first off the biggest clue is when he enters games in preseason...2nd clue should be him not being great when he does play...keep holding out hope Clanton is going to go from Poland to the Magic..

Making an NFL squad is a tremendous challenge. I'm pulling for Storm but
like some of the other players I've pulled for, he has struggled with an injury in camp
during an already shortened window (summer camp and practices) for getting an NFL roster spot.
Good competition and injury is the nature of the beast. Often, its nothing personal and
about team needs and breaks as players get selected or left off a roster.

Hall is another good player who needs to get back on the field quickly and not miss much
time to get a roster spot. Have you seen his competition? Either small receivers
with blazing 40 times or very tall and talented receivers.

Both these UCF players could make the Canadian league but I hope they don't have to go this route
where the average salary is 100K.

EVERYTHING I've read about Storm including what he puts on twitter exemplifies
a person of tremendous character, strength and perseverance! I hope he has a good
week of practice and is looking forwards instead of back towards last game.

Bet. Who's betting against their own? Adjust those bifocals and learn to read. Move on old man. There's got to be some little league practice that's dying for your insight.

Yes, old guys where Santa Suits to UCF bball games... Your ad hominems won't work on me, son.

WR Rannell Hall did not play in the Bucs' first preseason game due to what is reported as a "minor leg sprain." Sucks because he was really putting on a great camp from all reports. Hopefully he can get healed up and get some game time this preseason to at least get a spot on the practice squad.

Give it up honors, and realize these clowns that like to criticize our players are either 14 years old, or have the mentality of one. It should be a lesson in life though how that kind of negativity and "heard mentality" can be infectious. These guys are followers and wanabees. Take the higher ground. Don't buy into that kind of nonsense.

God forbid we criticize our own players

It's blasphemy!!!! Why do we have to have blinders on? Why can't we analyze, critique and criticize and still be fans??? Why do we have to be called a "dick" or "asshole" for voicing our opinions and criticized when we have one that's not the same as your own?
This isn't a new concept Boston. Very loyal and very good fans have been praising and criticizing their players for decades. Where have you been?
Who are you to control my opinion? Or anyone else's? I do my fair share for this program.

Hey Honors and Boston I look forward to the day you guys finally get your first girlfriend and won't break up with her, because she's "one of your own", even though she's mean, nasty, rude, late, and abusive.

G

(This post is not necessarily towards you personally)

So few do...as its mostly hate, denigrate and harass....as it seems that most that fall into this category know very little about UCF's program and/or the opposition UCF is playing, let alone particular players, offense/defensive schemes, etc...

A glimpse of any type of analysis would be a welcome sight for many posts on this board.

That's not totally True. For instance, I am sure it has been said that Nick Patti is too short. Are we hating...NO. Is that a straight call....YES. Is Nick Patti a QB...NO. Is this being Negative....NO :)

Storm has always had major talent. His ball control has always been suspect. He was a huge key for us in 2013. But he also left us in some poor spots at times.

The fact that it's worse in the pros to cough the ball up was always going to be his undoing, if he didn't get it under control.

Of course ... if JAX had a better O-line, things would be better for him. So a trade to another team, with a better O-line, might help.

Storm was a huge part of our success in 2013, and in fact I would say that we would not have been going to the fiesta bowl of it wasn't for him, despite his untimely fumbles. The one play I'm thinking of was in the Louisville game, where Storm really changed momentum of that game with his TD catch and run. Not many other players could have made that play.

Storm had a small rash called FUMBLE-ROOSKIE. I hope he gets picked up!

Storm is a very good runner but the way he protects the ball has always been his problem. I think everyone wanted him to succeed but so far it doesn't look good. Blind loyalty has been the downfall of many.
