Do you guys know anything about the StreamSmart box? Is it worth getting? Is it basically like an appletv? Are you able to watch all NFL and MLB games live? Is this the thing Blake Bortles said he had in that interview last year where he can watch all movies that are still in theaters? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

TLDR: It's a Kodi box that's overpriced. I wouldn't buy it but I do have a device that does the same thing for a lot less.

Non TLDR:
I didn't know about StreamSmart until your post but I looked it up and it's exactly what I thought it would be. Basically, it utilizes Kodi to provide free streaming movies, tv shows, and live tv. If your not familiar with Kodi, it's a media player (used to be called Xbox Media Center, or XBMC) available on the Google Play Store that can be modded with add-ons. The add-ons provide links to stream movies, tv shows, and even live tv. I've been using Kodi for about 2 years now and it's great to have for movies and tv shows, but live tv is very hit or miss. I can get any sports game I want, but the quality is erratic.

If you're interested in Kodi, you should understand the landscape. The streamed movies and tv shows are pirated material. It's technically not illegal to stream it but the law may eventually catch up. It's also important to know that the device manufacturers (such as StreamSmart) are different from the Kodi developers which are different from the add-on developers. The reason it's important is that device manufacturers will typically sell their device with Kodi but no add-ons. Bundling the add-ons and selling for profit is illegal. Just be leery of extended warranties from companies that bundle because they may not be around to honor it because of prosecution.

If you purchase a device, you'll need to learn how to configure it with the add-ons. There are sellers on e-bay that setup the boxes and sell them but they're full of bloat and you'll have to update your add-ons as things change so it's better to learn it up front and save your money. Check out http://www.tvaddons.ag/install-addons-kodi/ for guides on how to configure it yourself.

As for StreamSmart, I'm very skeptical because Kodi can run on any Android/Windows/Mac device, even phones with no issues. I'm not sure how they justify $400 for a box when many competitors are selling Android boxes for around $100. I use a device called the Matricom Gbox Mx2 (it's an older version of the Matricom Gbox Q that is available on Amazon) and it works great.

The add-on landscape is also very dynamic with add-ons coming and going. You have to keep up with the latest add-ons to get the best content. Usually once a month, I check the recommended addons at http://www.reddit.com/r/Addons4Kodi to see if I need to make changes. There's been an influx of p2p addons which are essentially torrents to stream the media. I'd avoid p2p addons because your IP is visible unless you use a VPN. It's an added complication that isn't needed and increases your risk. There's also paid services that provide premium streams (such as real-debrid). People rave about the service that it provides high quality streams more reliably, but be careful in paying for this sort of service. You're paying for pirated material and may no longer be in the legal gray area.

I hope this helps.
