Ughhh here we go...
Studs: Really hard to find any studs in this game. Considering the supposed talent gap no one on our team really showed that they were that much more superior to any player on Furman or enough to be considered a stud. I will say the defense played good enough for us to win and the DTs had a solid game but still no real pressure on the QB when we rush 4 and on the stretch run plays the lbs are getting held up consistently. Has been years since I have seen that at UCF. Also I believe only fumble we forced was on special teams so no turnovers forced on defense which would have helped. Still though defense wasn't the reason we lost.
Duds: Got plenty of these but instead of listing them all out I am going to focus on one play that about made my head explode and anyone that read my FIU edition write up has to know what this is going to be about...

- 4th & Two Debacle: I have watched a LOT of football in my life and I have never seen a situation where a team runs out to go for it on 4th and 2 and then takes a TO only to come back out and hard count and then take another TO only to come back and go for it and not get the two yards. This was almost an identical situation to the FIU game. If we had kicked the 41 yard field goal (chip shot according to Oleary) we would have gone up by 15 pts which against Furman you have to think was huge. I again was against going for it just like I was in the FIU game but after the TO I was sure we would kick and then after the hard count fails I was double sure we would kick and after all that we go for it and get stuffed. We give the ball back to Furman and they march down the field and score a TD JUST like FIU did. This is bad but I think it is made 100 times worse by the fact it just happened to us at home two weeks ago. How do the coaches let this happen again. Oleary said after the game we have to find ways to put points on the board. KICK THE FIELD GOAL. Oleary is one of the most conservative coaches on the planet, how the hell is he all of a sudden rolling the dice on all these 4th down plays with probably Oleary's worst offense in all the time he has been at UCF.
- Akins: I was walking to my seat right where Aiken went down. Could not believe it. Two weeks in a row our best offense player goes down on the first offensive series of the game. It looked bad too. Not sure what word is on it but he reacted as if he knew it was bad. Looked like an ACL. Really bad for us especially considering how crappy the other WRs looked today. I give them a small pass due to the QB play but some of the drops today there are no excuse for. Also highlights why it is tough to put your best offensive weapon on the kick return but not like we had a lot of options there. Still not sure I like Akins at that position anyways. He is a lot of body to hit.
- Stanback: He didn't get injured today but the fact that he stands dressed on the side lines and doesn't play in a game like this tonight is very frustrating. If he is too injured to play then don't dress him. If he is too much of a disruption on the team then kick him off. I don't get dressing him and not playing him. The Stanback situation is so disappointing.
