Not in baseball against a ranked team and when you are ranked. Much like basketball, you are likely to lose a game here or there. And when you are ranked, all teams plan to put their best pitcher(s) against you. Winning the series against a ranked team is HUGE and unless that team turns out to be a flub by end of season (and you don't lay an egg yourself), will likely guarantee you a spot in the regionals.Originally posted by firm_bizzle:
