Defense made one mistake and it cost them but they played well. Offense not moving the chains all game will gas a defense
People said scoring too much makes the D tired. So does not scoring. I’d rather we scored 42 last night like people in here complained about.
Defense played amazing,
They never got to rest with all of the 3 and outs
Malzhan said we have an undisciplined football team. Got to get the stupid penalties down on defense . Other than that, agree they balled well overall
In other words, when that energy starts to turn to frustration, how does your team react? I think the D can improve here, especially Baptise
Btw, I thought we got a few calls to go our way. The targeting on Corey Thornton was a bad call in our favor. I hope they catch that on film.
The good part about that targeting/review/overturn was that it gave our defense some rest and gave the crowd some energy
I don’t know how it was overturned. There was nothing unintentional or coincidental about it
not it wasn't. thornton turned away and got him with his back.
Because it was clearly not targeting. The defender turned to avoid the hit and hit him with his back.
Also, the defense was the lone bright spot to take away from the game last night.
