The most enthusiasm I saw from GOL was the hail marry TD pass against East Carolina, and the Feista bowl victory. Other than that it was a look of all business my way or the highway. He was an old school coach all the way, and that was exactly what UCF needed during that period of growth. He was also good at finding the diamond in rough with players. Fast forward the BOOM is bringing in a new level of enthusiasm just in time for the Big 12.

Agreed, especially for the former - his reaction to the Hail Perriman was quite the sight!!! He always had a fantastic sense of (dry) humor too
