Taboo on FX

I concur. I've watched the first two episodes. FX just consistently comes out with great shows.
 
Essentially 1800's England and a guy is fighting the East India Company over a piece of land he inherited in the US. It's a lot more in depth than that though.

This, plus the fact that it's Tom Hardy who came back from Africa with shit that makes everyone terrified of him.
 
Am I correct in assuming that he knocked up his sister and that kid in the first episode is their incest baby, hence Taboo?

Yes. At least that's what we are led to believe. But the "taboo" goes beyond that.

I love the High Sparrow as the EITC Chairman.
