Yes I'm making a new thread. Proud of this kid and I want yall to read what he wrote about committing to UCF.

I’m a Knight.

This program means a lot to me. As soon as I stepped into the facility for the first time, I got this tingly feeling. This is home. I already had that feeling and I’ve always had that feeling.

My heart has always been at UCF. Even when I was going on other visits, UCF was my home. I had love for other schools. Florida State has always been my No. 1 school. I love Florida State. I’ve been to LSU, and I loved LSU a lot. Rutgers, too.
But no environment was the same as the feeling I got from UCF. RJ Harvey paved the way for me. I gotta stay home.
I know college athletics is a business, but I didn’t expect the business side of it to hit me this quickly.
This last week was kind of hard. Actually, it was hell.
Coach Gus gave me his word that he staying, and then he left. A lot of people think I was going to UCF for Coach Gus, but the reason I picked UCF and gave my heart to the school is that it’s in my hometown. I like the environment, and I like what’s going on there.
I chose to delay my signing for a couple days because I had to make sure that I was still making the best decision for me and my family and the things I can do.
UCF gave me the chance to produce and do what I can do and be the best version of me.
It’s not going to be hard to sign with a school that doesn’t have a head coach yet. My heart is not into the coach, it’s into the school. I can make a bigger impact at this school and get this team back to what it was.
When I sign, it’s going to mean a lot. This is one of my dreams — to go to college, play ball and do the thing God gave me the talent to do. I’ll be the first one of family to go off to college and show what I can do.
It means a lot because my grandmother, I was always under her growing up. She’s the one who gave me my nickname, Chick. I really wanted her to be here and see my play college football, but I know that she’s looking down and she’s proud.
Go Knights. Charge On!
