It seems to me that in the past, if UCF won the toss or had the option, they would defer their choice to the 2nd half. I think at ECU and Memphis they won the coin flip but took the ball first. Am I remembering that right and does it really matter? Is it more important to try and score first or have the ball to open the 2nd half with the ball?
